About NAAC
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous institution established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in India. NAAC aims to promote quality assurance, quality enhancement, and continuous improvement in teaching–learning, research, infrastructure, governance, and institutional values. Through a comprehensive evaluation framework comprising seven criteria, NAAC supports institutions in developing a culture of excellence, accountability, and transparency. Accreditation by NAAC serves as a mark of quality, fostering trust among stakeholders and contributing to the overall advancement of the higher education system in India.
NAAC, Bengaluru has given five core values to be fulfilled by the Higher Education Institution. The values are
